Question:    What will happen if Microsoft and AOL merged together and became the
                             sole and powerful controller of the Net, eliminating all of the independent
                             players and competitors?


Hypothesis:    If such situation occurs, the nature of the Net as borderless and
                               centerless will be totally disrupted; thus, making the Net authocratic,
                               dependent and ownership based.


Question:    In the future, how can people accept and adapt to such situation and notion
                           of the Net as ownership based, controlled and authocratic?
